His hard-swinging rhythm guitar and banjo style bring the jazz standards of the swing era to the listener in a new and refreshing way. His use of new grooves in old tunes open up new horizons of the listening experience.
Scott’s originals earned him a nomination for the “Trailblazer Award” from Airplay International in Nashville, TN. In 1995 he was named a “Texas Tornado” and performed at his induction ceremony at the Hard Rock Cafe in Dallas, TX joining the company of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings.
